Mary Rhodes

     Mary was born on Saturday, 23 November 1686 in the Town of Oyster Bay, Queens County, Long Island, New York. She was the daughter of John & Dinah Rhodes. Her father was the first Baptist clergyman in Oyster Pay. Mary married Anthony Wright, son of Gideon Wright and Elizabeth Townsend, on 18 September 1702 in the Town of Oyster Bay, Queens County, Long Island, New York. For several years, he was a prominent person on the Record, and received, as heir of Peter Wright, a large tract of land, on the south of the Old Purchase. Mary departed this life at the Town of Oyster Bay, Queens County, Long Island, New York.
