Jean Rinfret

M, b. 1662, d. 3 March 1717
     Jean was born in 1662 in Saint Malo, Ille-et-Vilaine, Bretagne, France. He was the son of Julien Rinfret and Jeanne Moussard. He was christened there in Saint Vincent Cathedral.1 Jean married Marie Marguerite Massard, daughter of Nicolas Massard and Anne Bellesoeur dit Lucas, on 28 November 1693 in Pointe-de-Levy, Lauzon, Levis County, Quebec, Canada, at St-Joseph Church.2 Jean and Marguerite had children: Louis [9/30/1694], Guillaume [6/06/1696], Marie Francoise [9/041697-2/21/1770][m. 1/13/1716 Michel Roullard], Marie Anne [3/04/1700-11/02/1701] & Catherine Felicite [9/09/1702-5/22/1704].3 Jean's wife, Marie, died circa 24 November 1702 in ville de Quebec, Quebec, Canada, leaving him a widower. He married 2nd Marie Jeanne Tellier. Jean departed this life on Wednesday, 3 March 1717 in ville de Quebec at age 55 years. He was buried there in the cemetery of Notre Dame on Thursday, 4 March 1717.4
