Deliverance married James Townsend, son of John Townsend I and Elizabeth Montgomerie, circa 1695. James & Deliverance had children: Patience [m. John Lovell of Bordentown, N. J., & Ruemourn [a posthumous son]. Deliverance was still living when her husband mentioned her in his will dated on 11 February 1698. On 19 May, she was appointed exectrix of her husband's will.
