Francois-Xavier Prudhomme

M, b. circa 2 December 1651, d. 21 April 1741
     Francois-Xavier was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. He was the son of Louis Prudhomme & Roberte Gadois. He was christened there on 2 December 1651 in the Basilica of Notre Dame.1 Francois-Xavier married Cecile Gervais, daughter of Jean Gervais and Anne Archambault, on 20 November 1684 in Montreal at the Basilica of Notre Dame.2 Francois & Cecile had children: Francois [12/08/1685-12/07/1748][m. 11/17/1710 Marie-Anne Courault], Cecile [2/25/1689-7/18/1777][m. 1/18/1718 Louis Lamy], Cunegonde [12/26/1690-10/18/1735][m. 1/07/1721 Jacques Gautherr], Marguerite-Catherine [1/31/1693-4/15/1774][m. 7/27/1718 Pierre Lamy], Marie-Anne [12/26/1699-10/06/1784][m. 10/06/1727 Pierre Demers], Louis [11/25/1701-9/19/1747][m. 7/02/1727 Madeleine St-Aubin], Madeleine [4/05/1706-12/16/1785][m. 2/04/1743 Louis Bougret] & Jean-Baptiste [5/16/1710-1/16/1795][m. 1/21/1737 Agathe Sarrazin]. Francois-Xavier departed this life on Friday, 21 April 1741 in Montreal. He was buried there in the cemetery of Notre Dame on Saturday, 22 April 1741.3
