John married Rebecca (?).2 John's wife, Rebecca, died on 24 September 1651 in Guilford, New Haven County, Connecticut, leaving him a widower. John married 2nd Anna (?). She was first married to William Plaine. John's wife, Anna, died on 30 March 1658 in Guilford, New Haven County, Connecticut, leaving him a widower. He inherited the property of Anna's former husband, William Plaine. John married 3rd Hannah (?) in February 1659 in Guilford, New Haven County, Connecticut.

On board the first vessel that entered the harbor of new Haven was John Parmelin supposed to be a son of Johannes & father of "Jo. Parmeley". Joel, 10th son of Jo. Parmelie . . . [Note: To us, this does not appear to be the same John that was the son of John who came in 1639 & not the subject here listed. klm]
