Sarah Norton

     Sarah was born on Thursday, 9 March 1775 in Durham, Middlesex County, Connecticut. Sarah married Aaron Baldwin, son of Abiel Baldwin and Mehitable Johnson, on 3 November 1801 in Durham. Aaron and Sarah had children: Minerva [12/02/1802-1/14/1866], Aaron [2/01/1805-8/17/1858] [m. Philena Bissell], Orrin [5/18/1807-10/21/1869] [m. Sarah Hopkins], Betsy [10/14/1809-10/10/1890], Elihu [5/30/1812-1/06/1875], Lemul Norton [10/07/1814-7/24/1893] [m. 1842 Mary Jane McDougall] & Eveline Charlotte [12/02/1817-5/23/1890].¹ Sarah departed this life on Friday, 26 February 1841 in Atwater, Portage County, Ohio, at age 65 years, 11 months and 17 days. She was buried there in the Atwater Cemetery.¹
