John & Isabell are on record having sold lands in Clayton & Thorton in 1565 to John Batte. During the Hilary Term of 1573, John received two messuages of land in Thorton-in-Bradfordale. John departed this life before the Easter Term of 1614 in Thorton-in-Bradfordale, Yorkshire, England. During the Easter Term of 1614, his son, Christopher, was turning over his rights to his messuage in Thorton-in-Bradfordale. It was noted on the record, that both his father, John, & his brother, Thomas, were deceased.
