John Leggett

     John was born on Saturday, 1 May 1677 in West Farms, Westchester County, New York. He was the son of Gabriel Leggett and Elizabeth Richardson. John married Cicily Hunt, daughter of Thomas Hunt II and Elizabeth Jessop, circa 1700 in West Farms, Westchester County, New York. John & Cicely had children: Martha [ca. 1699-d.y.], John [ca. 1700- ][m. Anna Hunt], Joshua [___-before 6/20/1738][m. Abigail], David & Sarah.1 John departed this life in 1707 in West Farms at age 29 years.
