Mehitable Johnson1

Mehitable was born on Thursday, 16 September 1734 in Durham, Middlesex County, Connecticut.2 She was the daughter of Deacon Benjamin Johnson and Eunice Sutliffe. She was christened there on 22 November 1734 in Durham. Mehitable married Abiel Baldwin, son of Ezra Baldwin and Ruth Curtis, on 1 April 1756 in Durham.3,4 Mehitable's husband, Abiel, died on 11 August 1802 in Durham leaving her a widow.5,4 Mehitable departed this life on Wednesday, 17 February 1813 in Durham, Middlesex County, Connecticut.6 She was buried there in the Old Durham Cemetery.7
