Elizabeth Hemingway

She may be the daughter of Ralph Hemingway & Elizabeth Hewes of Roxbury.1 She was christened there on 8 June 1645 in the First Church. Elizabeth married John Holbrook, son of Richard Holbrook and Agnes (?), on 24 September 1663 in Dorchester, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.2 John & Elizabeth had children: John [7/21/1664-1735][m. 9/24/1684 Mary Cheney], Elizabeth [4/16/1670-2/07/1734][m. 3/10/1692 Joseph Mayo], Abigail [8/27/1674-10/22/1729][m. Edward Bugbee] & Daniel [3/15/1676-7/31/1719][m. 5/29/1696 Elizabeth Seaver].3,2 Elizabeth's husband, John, died on 25 December 1678 in Roxbury, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, leaving her a widow.4 She married second 22 May 1679 Richard Hall in Roxbury.5 Elizabeth departed this life on Thursday, 30 November 1719 in Roxbury at age 74 years, 5 months and 29 days. She was buried there in Eliot Burying Ground.6
