George Hewlett

     George was born in 1711 in Hempstead Town, Queens County, Long Island, New York. George married Hannah Embree, daughter of Samuel Embree, circa 1743. George and Hannah had children: William [6/17/1744] [m. 8/26/1762 Phebe Kirby], Samuel [1746] Richard [4/24/1748-1794] Embree [18/25/1754-5/16/1830] [m. 3/25/1784 Mary Baker] & Hannah [4/09/1758-2/29/1824].
