“I Margaret Randolphe of Topcroft wedowe” - - - my bodie to be buried in the church yarde of Topcroft aforesaied First I give unto John my eldest sonne my graie Geldinge and two horses one of them is color baie and the other is roone - - -Item I give unto the same John my sonne my two bullucks and a payer of carte wheeles without strakes, and nayles for the same wheles and tymber redie for a carte booke and one table leying at his howse and my newe cupborde - - - Item I give to Willaim my sonne my graie horse and my yonge baie horse and my carte and plowe withall my collers and harness belonginge thereunto and all my borde that I have and my posted bed with the tester and hangings perteyninge to the same and my table in my parlour and ould chest in my parlour - - - Item I give unto John the younger my sonne two milch keene - - - Item I give unto Margarett my dawter two milche keene - - - Item I give unto Diana my dawter two milche keene - - - I give unto Agnes my dawter two milche keene - - - Item I give unto Anthony my youngest sonne one milche keene - - - Item I give unto John my brother twenty shillings - - - Item I give unto Agnes Haundie twentie shillings - - - Item I give unto Gafferye my brother eleven shillings - - - Item I give unto my five youngest children to John Anthonye Margaret Diana and Agnes all my other moveable Goods and cattalles withal my implements and stuffe of housholde before not bequeathed to be equalie devided and parte between them by the Discrestion of Jafferye my brother John my brother Willam Shermanne and Richard Wiltonne and I will that if John my eldest son do receive take or diminishe all or any parte or parcell of my corn and grain growing or leyinge in and upon the same Grounde or in anye parte or parcell thereof That then the saied John my sonne shall enter after my decease then the said John was void of all legacies and bequests give to him, and his portion was divided between Margaret’s five younger children. The executors were John Goodwyn, her brother and William Shermanne, and they were given 10s. each - - Witnesses: Richard Wilton, Edmund Jermynne, Robert Kylliotte.1
She was buried there in the churchyard of St. Margaret's. Her will was probated on 19 October 1555.
