Ann Freman

F, d. before 26 May 1581
     Ann was born. The name of her parents is not known. She had a brother, John, and a sister who married a Mr. Seman.1 Ann married William Grymwade, son of Thomas Grymwade, circa 1538.2 Ann made her will on 19 January 1581.

I Anne Grymwade, widow . . . to my sonne William and to his heiers tenne pounds . . . to my sonne Thomas and his heiers . . .tenne pounds . . . and tenne shepe . . . to my daughter Snellings And to her heiers . . . tenne pounds . . . to my brother Freman my best horse which he him selfe shall like best to chose . . . to every of my sister Semans children viz to Peter Seman Anne Burlingham Richard Seman Johan Seman and Lawaunce Seman . . . twentie shillings . . . to every of my daughters in lawes viz Williams wife Thomas his wife and Edmund his wife . . . tenne shillings . . . to Suzane Peter Semans daughter one cowe . . . to Judith Burlinghan Ann Burlinghams daughter one cowe these neat to be delivered by my executor . . . to John Grymwade my late husbands brothers sonne xx shillings . . . to Katherine Lewes sister to the said John Grymwade ye like some of xx shillings . . . to the said Johan Seman my sisters daughter one gowne and one peticoate neither the best nor the poorest . . . to every of my chiildrens children x shillings to be paid . . . as theie come of age to acquinte myne executor . . . to Alice Ory my sonne Thomas his wife one feather bed and a boulster to be delivered to her father to her use immediately after my decesse . . . to John Seman Richard Semans sonne one stonne of barlie to be delivered to the said Richerde his father to his use [a stone equals 14 pounds in weight] . . .to Robert Grymwade my brother Edmunds sonne tenne shillings . . . to William his brother the like some of tenne shillings when twenty one . . . my sonne Edmunde Grymwade . . . Ann departed this life before 26 May 1581 in Whatfield, County Suffolk, England. She was buried there in the churchyard of St. Margaret on Tuesday, 26 May 1581.3 Her will was probated on 8 June 1581.
