Jan Thomaszen Eckerszen

M, b. before 20 November 1644, d. 1706
     Jan was born in Plymouth, Plymouth County, Massachusetts. His mother was married to Henry Peers on this date. He was the son of Thomas Hugesson Eckerszen and Sara Brout. On 11 December 1644, he was christened in New York City, New York County, New York, at the New Amsterdam Reformed Dutch Church.1 Jan married Apolonia Cornelissen Swits, daughter of Cornelis Claessen Swits and Ariaentje Cornelissen Trommels, on 8 November 1665 in New York City at the New Amsterdam Reformed Dutch Church.2 Jan departed this life in 1706 in New York City.
