Nathaniel Woodward

M, b. 1609, d. 1 February 1695
     Nathaniel was born in 1609 in Rushden, Northamptonshire, England.1 He was the son of Nathaniel Woodward and Margaret Lawrence. In May 1633, Nathaniel immigrated from Northamptonshire, England, to New England. The ship landed at Boston Harbor. He came as a servant of William Coddington. Nathaniel married Mary Jackson circa 1640 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.2 Nathaniel and Mary had children: Child [1639], child [1641], [they had two children before moving to Muddy River], Elisha [1644-1675], Nathaniel [1646], Israel [1648] & John [1650].3 He followed his father in the occupation of carpenter. Nathaniel married 2nd Catherine (?) circa 1664 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.4 Nthaniel and Catherine had a son, James [ca. 1665-b. 10/03/1732] [m. Hannah Stacy].5 Nathaniel departed this life on Tuesday, 1 February 1695. On this date a deed was granted by the court indicating the grantor, Nathaniel, had died.
