Marytje Vredenburgh

F, b. before 3 November 1669, d. after 11 September 1709
     Marytje was born in New York City, New York County, New York. She went by the name Maria. She was christened there on 3 November 1669 in the New Amsterdam Reformed Dutch Church. The witnesses were Philip Janszen & Aechtje Laurens.1 She was the daughter of Willem Isaacsen Van Vredenburgh and Appolona Barrentszen Cool. She was often referred to as Maria. Marytje married Jan Hendrickson Kortwright on 3 November 1700 in Kingston, Ulster County, New York, at the Reformed Dutch Church.2 She died sometime after the birth of her last child on the 11th of September 1709 and her husband's remarriage in 1711.
