Sophronia Stedman

     Sophronia was born circa 1799 in Farmington, Hartford County, Connecticut. She was the daughter of John D. Stedman II and Sylvia Catlin. Sophronia married Aaron Jacobs before 1820 in New York. Aaron and Sophronia had children: daughter [ca. 1819], daughter [ca. 1822], daughter [ca. 1824], son [ca. 1826], son [ca. 1828] John [1831], Reuben [1834]. Sophronia departed this life between 1834 and 1840 in Owego, Tioga County, New York. She gave birth to a son in 1834 and did not appear on the 1840 census.
