Humphrey Stafford 1st Duke of Buckingham

     Humphrey was born on Sunday, 15 August 1402 in Stafford, Staffordshire, England.1 He was the son of Earl Edmund of Stafford and Countess Anne of Glouchester - House of Plantagenet -. Humphrey married Anne Neville, daughter of Ralph Neville and Lady Joan (?) de Beaufort, before 18 October 1424. Humphrey & Anne had children: Humphrey [ -1458][m. Margaret Beaufort], Henry [1425-1471][m. Margaret Beaufort, daughter of John Beaufort], Edward, Catherine [1437-12/26/1476][m. John jTalbot, 3rd Earl of Shrewbury], George [1439], William [1439], John [ -5/08/1473][m. Constance Green], Joan [1442-1484][m. William Beaumont & 2nd William Knyvett], Anne [1446-1472][m. Aubrey DeVere & 2nd Thomas Copham] & Margaret [m. Robert Dunham].1 Humphrey died on Tuesday, 10 July 1460 at age 57 years, 10 months and 25 days in the Battle of Northampton. He was buried at Northamptonshire, England, in Grey Friar.
