Ebles I de Rouci

     Ebles I de was born in Roucy, Picardie, France. He was the son of Count Giselbert de Rouci. Ebles married Beatrice de Hainaut, daughter of Reginar de Hainaut and Hedwig de Capet, in France. Ebles departed this life on Saturday, 11 May 1033 in France. He became Count of Roucy in the year 1000, and created Archbishop of Reims in 1021. He held both of these titles until his death.
