Jonathan Bangs1

M, b. 1640, d. 9 November 1728
     Jonathan was born in 1640 in Plymouth, Plymouth County, Massachusetts. He was the son of Edward Bangs and Rebecca Hobart. Jonathan married Mary Mayo, daughter of Captain Samuel Mayo and Thomasine Lumpkin, on 16 July 1664 in Eastham, Barnstable County, Massachusetts.2,3 Jonathan's wife, Mary, died on 26 January 1711 in Harwich, Barnstable County, Massachusetts, leaving him a widower.4 Jonathan married 2nd Sarah (?) circa 1712 in Massachusetts. Jonathan's wife, Sarah, died on 11 June 1719 in Harwich, Barnstable County, Massachusetts, leaving him a widower.5 Jonathan married 3rd Ruth Cole on 23 July 1720 in Eastham, Barnstable County, Massachusetts. She was the widow of John Young.6 Jonathan departed this life on Tuesday, 9 November 1728 in Eastham, Barnstable County, Massachusetts. He was buried in Eastham, Barnstable County, Massachusetts, in the Old Burying Ground.4
