Joane Pankhurst

     Joane was born circa 1614 in Iford, County Sussex, England. She was sole executrix of her mother's will in 1623. She was the daughter of Nicholas Pankhurst and Barbara Geere. No record has been located for the christening of Nicholas & Barbara's daughter, Joane. Sincr she is named sole executrix of her mother's will, questions arise as to her age. Also, her father leaves her land but when he dies it goes to Anne, not her heirs or her choice.
