John was born in 1634 in England. John married Hannah Brown circa 1656 in Stamford, Fairfield County, Connecticut. In the spring of 1657, Joseph & his brother John and their families, moved to Hempstead. They later returned to Connectiut. On the 26th of October 1660, he purchased all the houses & lands along with their apurtenances belonging to Richard Crabb in Greenwich. John departed this life on Friday, 5 February 1699/0 in Greenwich, Fairfield County, Connecticut.
