Marilyn Joyce McCurdy

     She was buried at Brotherton, Somerset County, Pennsylvania, in Brotherton Pike Cemetery. Marilyn Joyce was born on Friday, 13 May 1932 in Liberty Township, Crawford County, Ohio, at her Beery grandparents' farm on Lincoln Highway [U.S. 30]. She was often referred to as Joyce. Joyce married James Lee Saylor on 3 June 1983 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. Marilyn's husband, James, died on 1 January 1996 in Finnleyville, Washington County, Pennsylvania, leaving her a widow. Marilyn died on Wednesday, 9 March 2011 in Pittsburgh at age 78 years, 9 months and 24 days of a C-dep infection that turned septic. She was also suffering from Alsheimzer's disease.

Joyce was a member of the Yankee Doodle Dandies, WMSA, Red Hat Ladies, and a member of the West Elizabeth United Methodist Church. Friends will be received at the JOHN F.
