     Joseph was born circa 1707 in Deschambault, Portneuf County, Quebec, Canada. Joseph married Catherine Brun on 29 January 1731 in Deschambault at the church of St-Joseph.1 Joseph and Catherine had children: Louis Joseph [6/19/1732], Marie Catherine [7/22/1734-8/03/1734], Marie Louise [8/03/1735-12/23/1735], Madeleine [12/19/1736-2/18/1737], Louis Joseph [2/06/1738-9/14/1758], Marie Josephe [4/24/1740-6/29/1802][m. 9/05/1763 Joseph Marcotte], Marie Josephe Catherine [ 10/26/1742-7/12/1763] & Eustache [6/01/1746-3/02/1776][m. 10/22/1770 Marie Josephe Naud].2 Joseph's wife, Catherine, died on 29 July 1763 in Deschambault leaving him a widower. Joseph departed this life on Monday, 28 March 1768 in Deschambault. He was buried there in the churchyard of St-Joseph on Tuesday, 29 March 1768.3
