Ruth Mapes

     Ruth was born on Sunday, 12 April 1767 in Hamptonburg Township, Orange County, New York. Ruth married William Vail Jr., son of William Vail and Phebe Vail, on 10 October 1785 in Orange County, New York, by by Mr. Lewis. Fanny Many], Phebe [3/04/1797], Daniel C. 8/11/1799] [m. Rebecca Conkli, William B. [7/24/1803]][m. Mary Van Voorhis] & Emily 7/14/1812-12/08/1850][m. 3/30/1844 John Fitlin].
