     Francois was born in 1693 in Neuville, Portneuf County, Quebec, Canada. Francois married Marie-Therese Lamontagne dit Desnoyers on 24 April 1716 in Deschambault, Portneuf County, Quebec, Canada, at the church of St-Joseph.1 Francois & Marie-Therese had children: Josephe [5/03/1717-12/10/1793][m. 11/23/1739 Joseph Hamelin dit Lacave], Marie-Therese [3/31/1718][m. 10/24/1735 Jean-Baptiste Groleau], Marie Francoise [1/29/1720-3/27/1784][m. 1/01/1745 Jean-Baptiste Mathieu], Marie Angelique [5/28/1721-4/30/1799][m. 10/03/1741 Pierre Brunet], Joseph [10/03/1722-6/11/1799][m. 9/05/1763 Marie Josephe Mayrand], Jacques [2/20/1724-11/29/1744] & Marie [2/21/1726-11/18/1801][m. 1/12/1750 Antoine Perron].2 Francois departed this life in Cap-Sante, Portneuf County, Quebec, Canada. He was buried there in the churchyard of Ste-Familie on Sunday, 2 February 1727.3
