Henry is a shoemaker; their personal property is valued at $240.³ Cecelia's husband, Henry, died on 1 February 1866 in Orange County, New York, leaving her a widow. 6 August 1870, the U.S. Federal Census listed Cecelia living in the home of his daughter at Pequannock, Morris County, New Jersey. [13 New York], Cecelia Van Ness [63 New York].⁵ Cecelia departed this life on Tuesday, 30 May 1882 in HohoKus, Bergen County, New Jersey, at age 65 years, 3 months and 24 days.⁶
