3 Michel's wife, Madeleine, died on 5 September 1703 in Hotel-Dieu, ville de Quebec, Quebec, Canada, leaving him a widower. Michel departed this life in St-Vallier, Bellechasse County, Quebec, Canada. He was buried there in the churchyard of St-Philippe & St-Jacques on Friday, 2 July 1728.
