Elizabeth Lyman

F, b. before 7 March 1744, d. 9 May 1808
     Elizabeth was born in Durham, Middlesex County, Connecticut. She was the daughter of Thomas and Ann Lyman of Durham.1 She was christened there on 7 March 1744 in Durham.2 Elizabeth married Ezra Baldwin, son of Ezra Baldwin and Ruth Curtis, on 16 May 1764 in Durham, Middlesex County, Connecticut, by the Rev. Elizur Goodrich.3 Ezra & Elizabeth had children: Ezra [10/11/1765] & Lyman [8/24/1768].4 They joined the Church in Granville by a letter dated in June 1764.5 Elizabeth departed this life on Monday, 9 May 1808 in Granville. She was buried there in West Granville Cemetery. The inscription on her tombstone reads: In Memory of Mrs. Elizabeth consort ofMr. Ezra Baldwin who died May 9th 1808 in the 65th yerar of her age.6
