Sarah Alling1

     Sarah was born before 12 October 1649 in New Haven, New Haven County, Connecticut. She was the daughter of Roger Alling and Mary Nash. She was christened there on 12 October 1649 in the First Congregational Church. Sarah married Joseph Peck, son of Henry Peck and Joan, on 28 November 1672 in New Haven at the First Congregational Church. Joseph and Sarah had children: Sarah [9/11/1673-10/02/1724] [m. 3/31/1698 Thomas Gilbert], Joseph [10/09/1675-1/09/1746] [m. Lydia Ball], Samuel 12/29/1677-1739] [m. 12/30/1703 Abigail Hitchcock], James [2/17/1679-1760] [m. 2/17/1706 Abigail Morris & 2nd. 7/10/1729 Hannah Rowe], John [10/06/1682] [m. 1/30/1707 Esther Morris], Eliphalet [5/12/1685], Abigail [5/02/1686-10/21/1782] [m. Robert Talmage], Mary [10/06/1689-1/22/1748] [m. Stephen Rowe & 2nd. 6/09/1729 Timothy Tuttle] & Ebenezer [5/02/1693].1 Sarah's husband, Joseph, died on 15 April 1720 in New Haven leaving her a widow. Sarah departed this life in 1743 in New Haven.
