     Harriett M. was born on Sunday, 8 July 1855 in Independence Township, Oakland County, Michigan. She was the daughter of Daniel & Elizabeth [Hander] Lonsberry. Harriett M. married Henry C. Beardslee, son of John Wheeler Beardslee and Elizabeth Ann Carpenter, on 1 June 1878 in Pontiac, Oakland County, Michigan.1 Henry & Harriet had children: Elizabeth [4/13/1877-1/12/1880], Cora [1/10/1880-7/26/1924][m. 6/18/1913 Arthur Nunemaker], Elmer [6/121883-7/25/1965][m. Olive Mae German], Floyd [3/12/1885-10/12/1963][m. 4/28/1909 Aurella C. Higley] Cassius 10/20/1896-9/02/1972][m. 3/28/1923 Altha Caroline Charter]. 11 June 1900, Harriett and her husband, Henry, were listed on the U.S. Federal Census in Bloomfield Township, Oakland County, Michigan. Enumerated in this household were Henry C. Beardslee [August 1846-53 Michigan], his wife: Harriet [July 1855-44 Michigan], Cora [October 1880-19 Michigan], Elmer [June 1884-16 Michigan], Floyd [March 1885-15 Michigan], & Cassions [October 1896-3 Michigan].2 9 May 1910, Harriett and her husband, Henry, were listed on the U.S. Federal Census in Bloomfield Township. Enumerated in this household were Henry Beardslee [63 Michigan], his wife: Harriett [53 Michigan], Cora [29 Michigan], Cassius [13 Michigan], & hired hand, Claymore Harvey [23 Michigan]. They were married 24 years with 5 children, 4 living.3 Harriett died on Friday, 19 March 1926 in Pontiac at age 70 years, 8 months and 11 days of apoplexy with the grippe contributing.4 She was buried there in the Oak Hill Cemetery.
