Jean-Francois Lemoine

     Jean-Francois was born on Saturday, 13 February 1694 in St-Jean, Ile d'Orleans, Quebec, Canada. He was christened there on 15 February 1694 in St-Jean Church.1 Jean-Francois married Anne Maillou, daughter of Michel Maillou and Jeanne Mercier, on 16 May 1718 in Beaumont, Bellechasse County, Quebec, Canada, at St-Etienne Church.2 Jean-Francois's wife, Anne, died circa 2 March 1736 in Beaumont, leaving him a widower. Jean-Francois departed this life on Wednesday, 7 March 1770 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, at age 76 years and 22 days. He was buried there in Hotel-Dieu on Thursday, 8 March 1770.3
