Michel-Andre Lemieux

M, b. 29 November 1738, d. 14 September 1822
     Michel-Andre was born on Saturday, 29 November 1738 in Lauzon, Levis County, Quebec, Canada. He was the son of Joseph-Marie Lemieux & Marianne Guay. He was christened on the same day there in St-Joseph Church.1 Michel-Andre married Marie-Genevieve Guay, daughter of Michel Guay and Catherine Samson, on 11 February 1771 in Pointe-de-Levy, Lauzon at St-Joseph Church.2 Michel & Genevieve had a son, Michel [1/06/1772-3/27/1772].3 Michel-Andre's wife, Marie-Genevieve, died on 24 August 1772 in Lauzon leaving him a widower. He married 2nd Marie Louise Victoire Duguer on 18 July 1774 at Lauzon.4 Michel-Andre departed this life on Saturday, 14 September 1822 in Lauzon at age 83 years, 9 months and 16 days. He was buried there in the cemetery of St-Joseph on Monday, 16 September 1822.5
