Rene Lemerle

M, b. 1651
     Rene was born in 1651 in Edon, Charente-Maritime, Poitou-Charentes, France. He was the son of Jacques Lemerle and Antoinette Etienne.1 Rene married Antoinette Salois, daughter of Claude Salois and Marie-Anne Mabille, on 2 June 1683 in St-Laurent, Ile d'Orleans, Quebec, Canada, at St-Laurent Church.2 Rene's wife, Antoinette, died circa 5 December 1700 in St-Laurent, leaving him a widower.
