Pierre was born in Batiscan, Les Chenaux County, Quebec, Canada. He was christened there on 23 September 1681 in St-Francois-Xavier Church.¹ Pierre married Marie-Francoise Gailloux, daughter of Pierre Gailloux and Marguerite Crete, on 1 September 1711 in Batiscan at St-Francois-Xavier Church.² Pierre departed this life on Tuesday, 29 January 1743 in St-Pierre-les-Becquets. On the same day, he was buried there in the churchyard of St-Pierre-les-Becquets.³
