Marie Louise was born on Saturday, 22 September 1764 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. She was christened on the same day there in the Basilica of Notre Dame.¹ Marie Louise married Alexis Ayotte, son of Ignace Ayotte and Anne-Francoise Lecuyer dit Laneuville, circa 1783 in Maskinonge, Quebec, Canada.² Marie's husband, Alexis, died on 6 October 1824 in Maskinonge leaving her a widow. Marie departed this life on Tuesday, 11 September 1832 in Louiseville at age 67 years, 11 months and 20 days. She was buried there in the churchyard of St-Antoine-de-la-Riviiere-du-Loup on Wednesday, 12 September 1832.³
