Mary was born in Devonshire, England. Mary married George Cornish, son of Walter Cornish, circa 1563 in Tiverton. She, sometime prior to her death made her will at Tiverton. The will itself has not been found. Mary departed this life in Tiverton. She was buried there in St. Peter's Churchyard.¹ Her will was probated there at Tiverton.
