Francois-Joseph Langevin dit Bronsard

     Francois-Joseph was born on Monday, 14 February 1757 in Batiscan, Les Chenaux County, Quebec, Canada. He was the son of Etienne Langevin dit Bronsard & the Marie Richer dit LaFleche. He was christened on the same day there in Ste-Genevieve Church.1 Francois-Joseph married Marie-Scholastique Germain dit Belisle, daughter of Antoine de Padoue Germain dit Belisle and Marie-Anne Gouin, on 26 November 1781 in Deschambault, Portneuf County, Quebec, Canada, at the church of St-Joseph.2 Joseph & Scholastique had children: Joseph [1/09/1783-7/22/1817], Francois Archange [1/09/1783-10/30/1801], Marguerite [2/23/1786][m. 1/11/1808 Amable Courteau] , Antoine [2/27/179011/09/1822][m. 10/01/1816 Marie Roy dit Mazeret], Nathalie [3/04/1792-1/29/1827][m. 3/01/1813 Julien Courteau] & Marie-Luce [9/23/1797][m. 1/10/1820 David Baril].3 Francois-Joseph departed this life on Friday, 14 October 1808 in St-Pierre-les-Becquets, Nicolet County, Quebec, Canada, at age 51 years and 8 months. He was buried there in the churchyard of St-Pierre-les-Becquets on Sunday, 16 October 1808.4
