Elisabeth Lambert

     Elisabeth was born on Tuesday, 1 July 1766 in Louiseville, Quebec, Canada. She was the daughter of Gervais Lambert & Marie Dupol. She was christened on the same day there in St-Antoine-de-Padau, Riviere-du-Loup Church.¹ Elisabeth married Antoine Declos, son of Antoine Declos and Marguerite Guay, on 1 February 1790 in Louiseville at St-Antoine-de-Padau, Riviere-du-Loup Church.² Antoine and Elisabeth had children: a son [8/16/1791-8/16/1791], Antoine [9/08/1792][m. 7/05/1825 Marie Fortin], Gervais [12/23/1793][m. 10/16/1826 Apolline Fortine], Angele [3/27/1795][m. 4/14/1834 Joseph Dubord dit Clermont], Marie Louise [8/19/1796] [m. 6/22/1824 Charles Gelinas dit Bellemare], Andre [1/08/1798-3/13/1798], Andre [2/19/1799][m. 5/24/1836 Marie Caharlotte Lamy], Lucie [7/18/1802][m. 4/17/1826 Jean Baptiste Tessier], Marguerite [9/10/1804-5/10/1828], Francois [8/08/1807-8/26/1807] & Francois Xavier [1/28/1810].³ Elisabeth's husband, Antoine, died on 28 January 1826 in Louiseville leaving her a widow. Elisabeth departed this life on Saturday, 26 April 1834 in Louiseville at age 67 years, 9 months and 25 days. She was buried there in the churchyard of St-Antoine-de-Padau, Riviere-du-Loup on Monday, 28 April 1834.⁴
