     Mary was born before 14 February 1607 in Wigston Magna, Leicestershire, England.1 On 14 February 1607, she was christened in Wigston Magna, Leicestershire, England. Mary married Barnabas Horton, son of Libbeus Horton and Mary (?), circa 1639 in Leicestershire, England. This marriage was mentioned in the will of Mary's mother.2 The family immigrated to Massachusetts Bay Colony in 1640-1641. They first resided with Mary's brother Roger Lanston who was living at Ipswich.3 In March of 1642, they sold property in Ipswich. Sometime after this the family moved to Southold on Long Island where Barnabas established himself as one of the proprietors of the town. Mary's husband, Barnabas, died on 13 July 1680 in the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York, leaving her a widow. Mary departed this life circa 1686 in the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York.
