Daniel was born circa 1633 in Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts. Daniel married Margaret White on 25 December 1678 in Providence, Providence County, Rhode Island.
"Whereas my wife Margaret through her Maddnes of folly & Turbulency of her Curupt will, hath often Threatened to Ruinate my family, Routeing me [as she saith] of horse & Foote, Destroying me Root & Branch, putting out one of her owne Eyes to putt out both mine, & sett my house on fire: And is since departed from me takeing away my Children without my consent. And as I have been Enformed, is now plotting mischeife with some, of her Turbulent Spiritt, that when I am Absent from home to Rifle my house & take away my Goodes, to accomplish her Divelish Resolution against me.
These are therefore, not only to advise, but alsoe to Charge all persons upon theire Perill to forbare any such illegal proceedings, And alsoe do hereby foreworne, & forbid all persons whatsoever, to forbare bargaining with, Contracting of Debts, or Receiving any part of my Estate of my said wife Margarett without my approbation.

To the Towne mett this 28th day of jan: 1683/4. These are to desire tihe Towne, that they with in written prohibition, may be putt upon the publick record of this Towne. And alsoe published in this Towne metting.

Daniel made his will. Daniel departed this life in Smithfield, Providence County, Rhode Island.
