Eldad Kingsley

Eldad was born in 1638 in Dorchester, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.1 Eldad married Mehitable Mowry, daughter of Roger Mowry and Mary Johnson, on 9 May 1662 in Providence, Providence County, Rhode Island. Eldad and Mehitable had children: Elizabeth [1/29/1662], John[5/06/1665], Samuel [6/01/1669], Jonathan [2/21/1671], Mary [10/07/1675] & Nathaniel [2/05/1678]. Eldad made his will on 28 August 1679. He left to his wife, Mehitable, all the lands that his father had given him until his son John reaches his age, then he is to have half of tjose lands. He left certain lands to his sons Samuel, Jon and Nathaniel. To his daughters, Elizabeth and Mary, 20 shillins. He appoints his wife, Mehitable his executrix.2 Eldad departed this life on Wednesday, 30 August 1679 in Swansea Township, Bristol County, Massachusetts, at age 41 years.
