     Hanna was born circa 1629 in Dorchestershire, England. On 20 Mar 1635/1636, Hanna immigrated to this country from England. Hanna married Lt. Richard Brown in the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York. Their children were Ensign Richard [m. Dorthy King d/o his uncle Samuel], Johathan [ -1710] [m. Elizabeth Sylvester], William, Walter, Hannah, Abigail [m. 1/17/1687 William King s/o her uncle Samuel] & Mary [the order of birth is not known, except Mary is the youngest child].3 The family resided at Southold, Suffolk County, L.I., New York.
