Marie Charlotte Juneau

     Marie Charlotte was born on Friday, 6 March 1705 in St-Augustin de-Desmaures, Portneuf County, Quebec, Canada. She was christened there on 11 March 1705 in St-Francois-de-Sales Church, Pointe-Aux-Tremples.1 Marie Charlotte married Mathieu Gingras, son of Charles Gingras and Marie Francoise Amiot dit Villeneuve, on 5 September 1730 in St-Augustin de-Desmaures, Portneuf County, Quebec, Canada.2 Mathieu and Maire Charlotte had children: Joseph Mathieu [7/13/1731-8/08/1731], Mathieu [7/26/1732-9/15/1744], Charles [2/11/1734][m. 10/21/1782 Elisabeth Amable Baril], Marie Charlotte [4/13/1736-7/20/1737], Marie Charlotte [9/28/1737-6/04/1788][m. 2/05/1759 Rene Louis Megre dit Beausoliel], Jean Baptiste [3/__/1739-6/04/1739], Pierre [6/24/1742-4/26/1746] & Marie Anne Augustin Madeleine [8/20/1744-5/19/1789][m. 5/02/1763 Ambroise McCarthy].3 Marie's husband, Mathieu, died circa 1 February 1758 in St-Augustin de-Desmaures, leaving her a widow. Marie departed this life in St-Augustin de-Desmaures. She was buried there in the cemetery of St-Augustin Church on Monday, 2 May 1774.4
