Humphrey Johnson

     Humphrey was born in Herne Hill [Greater London], County Middlesex, England. On 5 November 1620, he was christened in Great Amwell, Herefordshire, England, at St. John the Baptist Church. Humphrey married Elinor Cheney on 20 March 1643. Humphrey first settled at Scituate nad later removed to Hingham. Abigail Leavitt] & Joseph [-9/06/1676].² Humphrey's wife, Elinor, died on 29 September 1678 in Hingham, Plymouth County, Massachusetts, leaving him a widower.³ Humphrey married 2nd Abigail Stansfield on 6 December 1678 in Hingham, Plymouth County, Massachusetts. Humphrey departed this life on Friday, 24 July 1693 in Hingham.
