     Francoise was born circa 1635 in Amfreville-sous-les-Monts, Eure, Normandy, France. In 1652 Francoise left her home in Paris as one of the "Filles a Marier". Upon her arrival, she stayed in the home of Jean Godefroy, Sieur de Linctot in Trois-Rivières until the time of her marriage. A contract for the marriage of Francoise & Pierre Dandonneau dit Junesse was signed on 16 January 1653. The contract disignated the groom's parents as Jacques Dandonneau and Isabelle Faint, and the bride's parents as Jacques Jobin and Marguerite Roy; it was drawn up by the notary Mr. Ameau..1 1666, Francoise and her husband, Pierre, were listed on the Canadian Census in Trois-Rivieres, Quebec, Canada. Enumerated in this household were Pierre Dandonneau dit Lagenesse [38 years], Francoise Jobin [34 years], Louis [11 years], Jeanne [9 years], Marguerite [6 years], Marie [4 years], Etiennette [3 years] Francoise [1 year] & a servant, Jean Langlois dit Lapareille.2 1667, Francoise and her husband, Pierre, were listed on the Canadian Census in Trois-Rivieres. Enumerated in this household were Pierre Dandonneau dit Lagenesse [40 years], Francoise Jobin [30 years], Louis [14 years], Jeanne [12 years], Marguerite [8 years], Marie Renee [6 years], Antoinette [5 years] Francoise [3 years], Marie Louise [1 year] & servants, Jacques Faille [40 years], Vincent ______ [30 years] & Guillaume Denoyon [25 years].2 1681, Francoise and her husband, Pierre, were listed on the Canadian Census in Champlain, Les Chenaux County, Quebec, Canada. Enumerated in this household were Pierre Dandonneau [55 years], Francoise Jobin [48 years], Marie [17 years], Louise [15 years], Jacques [11 years], Francoise [4 years] & 3 servants.2 Francoise's husband, Pierre, died between 26 April 1688 and 11 January 1695 in Champlain leaving her a widow. Francoise departed this life in Champlain. She was buried there in the churchyard of la Visitation on Thursday, 6 July 1702.3
