Marie-Anne Janvier

     Marie-Anne was born on Monday, 20 April 1682 in Cap-de-la-Madeleine, Quebec, Canada. She was the daughter of Jean Janvier & Dorothee Dubois. She was christened there on 26 April 1682 in Marie-Madeleine Church.1 Marie-Anne married on 7 February 1701, Edmund Roy dit Chatellerault at Ste-Anne-de-la-Perade. Marie-Anne married 2nd Louis-Mathurin Gouin, son of Mathurin Gouin and Marie-Madeleine Vienne, on 5 May 1733 in Ste-Anne-de-La-Perade, Champlain County, Quebec, Canada, at Ste-Anne-de-La-Perade Church.2 The couple did niot have any children. Marie-Anne departed this life on Tuesday, 2 March 1762 in Ste-Anne-de-La-Perade at age 79 years, 10 months and 10 days. She was buried there in the cemetery of Ste-Anne-de-La-Perade on Wednesday, 3 March 1762.3
