     Robert was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. He was christened there on 29 May 1662 in the Basilica of Notre Dame.1 Robert married Anne Therese Langlois on 6 January 1693 in Pointe-aux-Trembles, Montreal.2 Robert & Anne-Therese had children: Pierre [12/25/1693-1/03/1694], Marie-Francoise [7/15/1695-5/05/1748][7/13/1714 Francois Vinet], Jean-Baptiste [10/28/1697-6/03/1764][m. 10/18/1717 Marie Catherine Millet], Marie Charlotte [5/27/1700-12/24/1781][m. 1/03/1724 Louis Daunay], Marie-Barbe [9/13/1702-10/05/1768][m. 1/20/1723 Jean Millet] & Joseph [7/11/1714-3/21/1734].3 Robert departed this life in Montreal. He was buried there in the cemetery of Notre Dame on Thursday, 14 October 1723.4
