     Joseph was born in 1725 in Queen Anne's Parish, Prince George County, Maryland. Joseph married Hanna Bryant circa 1746 in Maryland. Joseph and Hannah had children: Joseph [1762], Richard [1764][m. 7/00/1784 Anne Williams], Sutton [1766][m. 6/02/1795 Elizabeth Clarke], Sarah [1768][m. Mr. King] & Mary [ -6/12/1810][m. 1/12/1790 John Francis Carrick].2 Joseph made his will on 4 July 1771 at Prince George's County, Maryland. In the name of God Amen the fourth Day of July 1771, I Joseph Isaac of Prince Georges County being perfect health and sound mind and memory do make this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following revoking all other wills or wills by me heretofore made.
Imprimis I recommend my Soul to God hoping through the mediation of Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior to obtain everlasting life and my Body to the Earth to be Buried in a decent manner as to my Executrix hereafter named shall.
Item I give and Bequeath to my son Richard Isaac Son of Hannah the Daughter of Richard Bryent one hundred and fifty acres of Land called Stony Plains on which is now my Dwelling house.
I give to my Son as aforesaid to him his heirs and Assigns for ever.
Item I give and Bequeath to my son Joseph Isaac Son of Hannah as aforesaid One hundred and twenty five acres of Land called Marthas Choice.
I give to my son as aforesaid to him his Heirs and Assigns forever.
Item I give and Bequeath to my Son Sutton Isaac Son of Hannah as aforesaid one Negro woman named Sary I give to my son aforesaid her and her incres to him his heirs and assigns forever.
Item I give and Bequeath to my Daughter Sarah Isaac Daughter of Hannah aforesaid one Negro woman named Hellenah I give to my Daughter as aforesaid her and her incres to her and her heirs for ever.
Item I give and Bequeath to my loving wife Hannah Isaac as above mentioned on Negro Woman named Bell I give to my wife during her Natural life Lastly after my Debts are paid I leave the remainder part of my Estate to be Equally devided amongst my four children above mentioned and this is my Last Will and Testament I Constitute Ordain and appoint my Loving wife as aforesaid my whole and Sole Executrix In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and fixed my seal the day and year above.
Signed Sealed Published and Delivered Jos. Isaac to be the last will and Testament of Joseph Isaac in the presents of us John Lewis Joseph Lewis Richard Foster.3 Joseph and Hanna departed this life in Prince George's County.2 His will was probated on 24 October 1774.
