     Thomasyne was born in St. Nicolas, Somersetshire, England. Thomasyne married William Torrey in England. The family resided at Combe, Sommersetshire, England. Thomasyne's husband, William, died before 18 June 1557 in Combe St. Nicholas, leaving her a widow.
