Abigail was born circa 1659 in Fairfield, Fairfield County, Connecticut. Abigail married Henry Fowler IV, son of Henry Fowler III and Rebecca Newell, circa 1678. Henry took up residence at East Chester and like his father, took an active part in the community affairs and also investing heavily in town lands. Inspite of all this activity, East Chester's town records show that father and son also shared common business interests in Mamaroneck. Henry was a proprietor of the second or Lond Beach Patent in East Chester. 1698, Henry and his wife Abigail were listed on the Westchester Town Census. Enumerated in this household were Henry Fowler, Abigail, and children Henry, Moses, William, John, Abigail, Rebecca, Susan & Elener.2 Abigail departed this life after 1701 in Eastchester, Westchester County, New York.

Henry Fowler before 1703, when Moses Hoyt Sen. deeded to his son-in law, Henry Fowler of E. Chester, one half a home-lot. We also find a deed of Henry Fowler and his wife Abigail of E. Chester in 1701, probably the same.
